Russian Citizens: Life in Montenegro

For Russian citizens, Montenegro has been their target destination for vacations and investments for years. This is how the well-known and recognizable neighbourly relationship between the citizens of Montenegro and Russia was born. Of course, this is the period before politics and its restrictions.

When we imagine the coast of Montenegro, it is almost impossible to imagine it without foreigners in the summer, and the thought of the coast without Russians is even further. Current data in Montenegro say that Russians are the owners or co-owners of 19,000 properties and almost four million square meters of land. The largest part of these properties, 98%, is located in coastal municipalities, and mostly in Budva and Bar. It is data like this that speaks of the relationship between the citizens of the two countries. That's why we will go through the regulations on staying in Montenegro for Russian citizens together.

Russian Citizens and Economic Passports:

In addition to the possibility of staying in Montenegro, until the end of this year there is also the possibility of acquiring Montenegrin citizenship by investing in certain projects, either on the coast or in the north of Montenegro. You can find all the downloadable steps on our blog! If you decide on this program, after choosing a project for investment, in about 6 months you will receive the citizenship of Montenegro, along with all the current and future benefits that come with it.

Investing in real estate is certainly one of the most profitable and safest investment plans. Especially in a region that promises as much as Montenegro. In the old travelogues that dealt with Montenegro, the warmth and hospitality of the people was shown as an inevitable part of the Montenegrins' identity. This is the characteristic of the people that governs our relations with all other nations. The feeling of welcome is hard to have these days, people are suspicious, bitter and carried away by the politics of those who work exclusively for their own interests. In Montenegro, the feeling is different, our doors are open to all people who are looking for a new home, or a vacation from the one where they grew up.

If you are thinking about moving, you will have the honour of coming across flowers that break through concrete and stone at some point while walking in our nature, at that moment you should associate our people with that image. We have been growing out of stone for centuries, and we are always there for those who want to break through their stones. Welcome to a small nation with a big heart.
